Hibbert practices mainly commercial litigation, including substantial work in bankruptcy court and handling mechanic’s liens and bond claims for the firms’ numerous construction-industry clients. As part of the firm’s pro bono efforts to perform free legal work for those in need, Seth is the legal coordinator for Habitat for Humanity in the Buffalo area. In addition to his membership in the American Bar Association, New York State Bar Association, and the Erie County Bar Association and its committee on commercial and bankruptcy law, he was a member of the state courts’ 8th Judicial District subcommittee that helped establish a commercial civil court in Erie County. A graduate of the State University of New York at Buffalo School of Law, Mr. Hibbert also holds an MBA graduate with honors from Syracuse University, and was graduated summa cum laude from Niagara University with a bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice and Criminology. Mr. Hibbert started with the firm as a law clerk and was made a partner on January 1, 2005.
